Waste Management

The Waste Management component collects was distribution and collection data from a city’s fleet of trash collecting vehicles. Next images show examples of collected data displayed on a city map.

Data can be displayed in various representations and it is possible to compare trash densities in city regions, street segments or over definable time spans. Underlying map style can also be customized. Collected data can also exported via API.

Analyzing complex data can sometimes lead to confusing end results. Thus it is often helpful to dig down to every measurement taken bei IoT equipment and sensors. In Urbalytix it is always possible to display every byte of collected data. Screen shot shows an example. This option is available for every data display style.

Parking Space Management

Cities greatest advantage is, that everything is close by and thus meeting people for every purpose does not require long distances. This however is also creating one of the greatest challenges – making sure that space is used as efficiently as possible. Parking space management is thus an essential tasks for cities to keep traffic flowing.

Starwit’s Urbalytix collects parking space data from various sources and keeps users up to date, about vehicle parking. All collected data can be forwarded to open data platforms and parking apps.

Traffic Management

In order to coordinate & optimize traffic detailed data is necessary – one can’t manage, what is not measurable. Starwit’s Urbalytix therefore hooks into various data source, to get close to real time traffic info. Ultimate goal is a 1:1 digital twin of everything that moves. Only then efficiently running traffic is possible.

Traffic Safety

With a detailed view on traffic flow, AI can help to detect problems quickly and thus enable equally quick responses. Next image shows a dangerous traffic situation, that can either shown to an operator or handled by an AI.

Asset/Fleet Management

Every city maintains a fleet of vehicles for various purposes. Trash collection, tree & parks management, public safety or firefighters all need vehicles. Starwit’s Urbalytix contains a component that provides locations and routes of every registered vehicle.
