Observatory Stack
Observatory Stack is an application, that let users create observation, statistics and trigger jobs. Based on object detecting sensors like cameras statistical data can lead to valuable knowledge.
Following images show the main functionality observation areas and job configuration. Observation areas defining at which geographical coordinates data shall be acquired. Detected objects can then be located at sensor coordinates (e.g. parking spot entrance) or each individual object is placed on a map via geo-mapping.

Observation jobs can then be composed of various statistical features among which are:
- objects crossing counting lines
- be present/not present in defined areas
- speed thresholds
- movement trigger
Observatories capabilities are constantly extended and you can even develop your own statistical module.
Key Features
- Create observation jobs
- Job types: Counting Statistics, Movement Statistics, Thresholds, Trigger
- Timeseries database for large data volumes
- Cloud-agnostic Deployment
- Works with any trajectory recording system
As with all of Starwit’s products, new features are constantly added and existing ones extended. If you want to have latest updates, look into project’s source code repository.
